The one that Mantahatch kindly gifted me seems to do the job, Mr Gonads.

It's an Autel MS509. :y

I believe that the 509 has been superseded. This means you won't get any back-up from Autel. :'(

Still plenty for sale though. :y

Be VERY careful of Chinese clones ... a great many on the bay of fleas ...First one I got was assured genuine .... yeah right .. as genuine as me being worth a million quid ... luckily I got my money back and bought a "real" one from a non-ebay source.

"You get what you pay for" .. and "caveat emptor" .. should be emblazoned across every single page of ebay

Agreed......and it's very difficult to tell a fake from the genuine article. :'(

I have a cheap one purely for the purpose of code checking and erasing engine management lights as I do a little trading of sub £7-800 cars. For what I need its perfect and shows the code so I can look it up ect. I had a volvo s40 which had. Eml light on after the battery was flat for a while and cleared it permantly. Ideally if I continue to do this I'll invest in a genuine one.

Wouldn't that just make it a Chinese clone of a Chinese clone.. ;D (Ok, Autel are Taiwanese so if they heard me say that they'd be for my neck..)
