Do you know   how can I check how many  realkilometers is my Omega?

Technically, you can't. Its not stored in any ECU, so if someone has messed with the dashboard, you'll need to revert to any paperwork trail from servicing etc.

Prefacelift Omegas (94-99) wear very well, so are often clocked by scumbag traders. Facelift Omega-B models do not wear so well, so IME are clocked less.

You can make a guess by feeling the ridge on the front and rear brake disks assuming they have not been replaced (rear ones should be original at least) and by looking at a lot of things eg the pedal wear, seat wear, faint scratches by the door handle, condition of the steering wheel leather, gear stick, buttons on the dash, wear on the car mats etc etc....  If it's very low mileage you may even have the original exhaust or even tyres (<50,000KM).

best way to understand a car is clocked is checking its steering leather. it tend to wear at 100K kilometers at  200K its totally worn out..

also you can understand the state of engine by looking at its cold and hot idle..  and a stethoscope on the engine block will tell many

also there are many other things that can tell you.. door isolation plastics,- underneath the car- exhaust pipes condition,  chasis links rust will also tell many things..

Those tricks dont work too well on a PFL, due to how well they wear, and make FL look suspicious due to how poorly they wear.

Nothing wears as fast as the buttons on a FL but my PFL air con button went at 60K and I replaced it. It nearly went again except the ac died first.  The steering wheel leather starting going about 100K but was still usable at 190K.

Leather condition depends entirely on how well it's been treated...

Changed my steering wheel at 235k for an Irmscher one, still as new. Likewise, Gear knob has done over 254k, still as new. Pedals are original and only partly worn, climate panel is also original and as new...

Treat any car like a skip and it will soon resemble one

Don't worry about kilometers mate, if your car does not eat oil, coolant is not oiled, oil is not coolanted, spark plugs are not sitting in oil and sound of engine not like a diesel then no need to worry! Mine is close to 300 000 km on the clock shows certainly much less then it's real km (thx Mr Deeler) but still working fine! A v6 can achive closely double km to a 4 pot - in proper hands of course!

    I think UKs sun has an effect.. here I very rarely I see a steering wheel leather reach 300K kms.. around 200 say max 250 no paint left on it..
