Vettel / Red Bull - Traction control ?
« on: 03 October 2013, 15:12:57 »

Apparently not,at least not in the sense of being illegal. But if you read Vettels own comments, and Alonsos, its obviously something special in the car (probably electronic) which means Vettel in (his) Red Bull is all but unbeatable. I very much doubt that Webers car has the same spec.

Wouldn't it be nice to see them all driving identical cars ?  :)

You got to hand it to Adrian Newey, how does this guy design title winning cars again and again? He always appears to be able to push the boundary on what I car can do.

That was called 'A1 GP' and it died a death in 2009 after just four years..

A similar (identical) idea is meant to be making a comeback as 'GP1' which will probaby also expire prematurely, if it ever gets off the ground..

No other series will ever get off the ground to the point where it will rival F1 imo. Its the glamour, the stars, the image etc. etc.
It has it all, apart from great racing a lot of the time.
I would love to see them all racing identical cars though. It would answer so many questions & arguments. I think Hamilton and Raikkonen would love it,Alonso might not be so keen and Vettel would take it to the European court of human rights (demanding that Angela Merkel be the only option as judge). ;D
