census nonsense
« on: 15 October 2013, 08:48:52 »

7.30am this morning they set up census on busy dual carriageway from Camberley to Farnham  Huge queues and delays. Managed to scoot round it which sort of defeats the object.

Yeah, they set one up round a blind bend on the Fleet Road in Farnborough a few months back. Never did bother to fill inn the form and post it, so also pointless. ::)

They did one on my local road where we have big issues with 12 ton skip lorries using the 20mph zone as a race track/shortcut.  Problem is, as soon as they got wind of it they went round the long way.  So now the local authorities think we are lying >:(

Better off capturing number plates electronically and questioning owners if necessary

nice to see that they've moved on from Basingstoke, nice man gave me a form to fill in which the details of which were totally irrelevant to what I was doing. q1. where did you start this journey ? do I put my home for start, Thatcham (the depot),the first school in Basingstoke, the school I've just come from, waste of paper & time as far as I can see in my case certainly !
