Their sliced chicken and ham, and especially their strawberry jam, is much nicer than the tasteless crap sold by Tesco.

I'm a big fan of Lidl. Got one up the road, I can walk there if I feel energetic. I buy mostly different stuff like salami and parma ham etc. Mozzarella for 44p ! Amazing (if you like mozzarella). Delicious mini plum tomatoes for around 80p.

They really put the big supermakets to shame, but lots of people won't go there. Its a snob thing. More fool them.

Spend more than £15 and produce your car park ticket, they take £2 off the bill.

Agreed.......and a 400g packet of chocolate biccies for around 59p.

its a bench grinder with a sanding belt cost £30 in lidi but same thing is only 19.99 in aldi.
