« on: 21 October 2013, 15:07:21 »

Anything else to try?

My Local Vx Dealer AA Clark in Bracknell apparently closed its doors and Became Eden Vauxhall a while back.  They Did a cambelt but I dont have the receipt... Eden didnt take over any records so am I correct in thinking thats it...

I cant really think of anything else to do.. I cant see another AA clark on 192.com apart from windsor and the numbers NU..

Do you want the history so that you know it's done? When was this?

I'd be tempted to get belt changed by one of the OOF mechanics here, some dealer jobs on these have been quite shocking  :o

Unless you want the history to sell it, it's not worth chasing.  :y

Yeah sadly it has to go.. but got offered scrap value by a dealer without the belt info.

I kept having reggie perrin moments when he was snorting and saying nobody wants a big vauxhall where I imagined running the b****** over with it... Then when I pointed out the car he was selling had a crack in the heated screen he said "thats alright just claim it off your insurance"...

I  certainly wouldn't buy a car from a person like that :o  as they would try to wriggle out of any warranty problems later,  ::) as others have said a cowboy.  >:(
