Nice one  :y
Mine was about the same, but I have a claim pending, so I reckon it would have.

My merc went down £500 for this year

Tho still worth shopping about and if you get a cheaper quote, get onto your present insurance comp and tell them you'll move if they dont beat it.

I did this on my Omega......and got £300 knocked off to keep my business.

Tho my insurance is a bit higher than yours

I agree TD, it's always worth shopping around just before you renew, but in this instance I think Ill be sticking with them :)

Excess may be more than most £200.00. Driver over 50 who does not wear a hat. did not take NCD protection - windscreen excess £75.00 if replaced. most other thing look the same

I had a renewal from Admiral, was more than I paid first time round. So I ran the quote through on their website again (had already done it about a month previously) and it came up about £200 cheaper. So I rang the renewals line and got them to verify this and pricematch themselves  ;D

Amazing. I'm with esure, I've got 14yrs no claims and every year I get an extra 1% discount. I'm up to 75% now, but the premium still goes up each year. I think they just try it on and if you argue the toss, they drop it without even checking your "other quote".
