It's been blowing hard here this afternoon, but calm now. Calm before the storm?  :-\

High tide is about 11pm so if it blows up again that's when it'll really cause problems....  :(

Were I live where surrounded by trees, some growing at peculiar angles :o its a case of parking where you think the trees that are up to the job. 80 mile mph gusts + heavy rain anyones guess :y

Its pretty Breezy at the moment, It will be a bit of a bumpy ride ;) hopes its  not 1 of those Easy jet Ryan Air sardine cans ;D

Depends how brave the pilot is feeling......Manchester or Birmingham can be quite nice when its dark  ::) ;D

Just read this on the BBC News Website:

High winds have already been reported in some areas, with a wind turbine collapsing in Devon on Saturday night.

That's the trouble with wind turbines:

No wind — no electricity.

Lots of wind — no turbine.
