No trains tomorrow morning in the South and the storm hasn't landed yet with how bad it will be subject to much speculation. The first trains of the day are due to start anytime between 8am and Midday.

Is this country better now the British bulldog and his sphericals, been replaced by a load of box ticking lily livered health and safety officials?

If the Battle of Britain was happening now, a health and safety official would be writing a note to Jerry along the lines of:

Dear Jerry,
Terribly sorry, but there will be no air-to-air combat tomorrow as our health and safety committee have deem it too dangerous for our pilots to takeoff or land in the expected strong winds. Please be a good sport and don't do too much damage to London and your other targets, where we are giving you a free hand for the day.
If the risk assessment deem it safe enough to take off and land on Tuesday we will see you then.
Yours Sincerely
Health and Safety Executive
