3.0 Catalytic Convertors MV6 Estate - scrap or sell?
« on: 28 October 2013, 17:46:27 »

I have the GM OEM cats from my 3.0 mFL 1998 MV6 Manual Estate sitting tin the garage.

I know they have a significant scrap value (where would I sell them nr Leeds?) or would I be better off offering them on here?
What sort of price can I/ should I expect?

Either/or

How come 2.6 ones aren't worth as much as 3.0 ones?

Because they are shit

Surprisingly, I listed a pair on ebay recently and they sold for £60 + £20 delivery. After the auction finished the buyer asked me to chop all the pipework off and just send him the 4 cats. Strange. :-\ ???
