Only a heavy right foot ;D

We share a common interest!  ;D

In answer to OP.

Supercharging/Turbocharging the V6 will not end well unless you spend a fortune on the Engine.

I've heard good results from LET's in the Omega.  Having said that, I'd prefer torque all through the range rather than a shoddy RR day certificate!  :y

if you have plenty of time, good funds , know of good garages with equipment and patience, go for it.. (but not with 2.6)

if you want a quick and easy solution go for a sports car..

From what I understand, cooling is the biggest problem. If going to such large expense, why not Supercharge the 3.2? I believe that has a stronger crank
can you explain please.

From my basic understanding, the extra power creates more heat. Which is a problem for pots 5/6, least that's what I read from here. That large amounts of more power, caused cooling issues and it was difficult to cool  :-\

If running hot is the problem then surely a better cooling system would be installed , not run the existing rad ect  :-\

My understanding was the circulation around the cylinder, so bigger rad would not improve things.

Bottom end bearings are the problem. Cooling system runs double the capacity in an ls1 so the cooling is fine.

As I say you need to talk to HooverMig as he has done what you are thinking of doing,I have seen the car a couple of times and it's used on road and also track days.He is a very knowledgeable guy and although his car is a pre facelift 2.5 he may well be able to give you some pointers to get you started on your project.....or not, as I really would'nt know wether the 2.6 engine would be the right unit for this type of upgrade. :y
