2.5td famous oil in intercooler track leak

I know this is a fairly common issue. Id say its a safe bet to say its a seal in the turbo past its best. So anyways question being I assume its time to rebuild the turbo also whats the best way of cleaning thr oil out of the jnlet manifold and pipe work etc

I don't understand the title, but I clean my inlet plastic pipe with carb cleaner. The manifold has to stay dirty until I change Gloplugs, when it has to come off. HTH

I removed the inlet manifold and cleaned it with a cheap bog brush and loads of nitromors

Perfectly normal, I've had my TD from nearly new, and there has always been a bit of oil in the intake As part of emission controls, crankcase gases are fed back to the inlet, bringing with them oil vapour which condenses on the cooler surfaces of the inlet ducting. (I think that's right anyway) :y

Ah yes. Forgot about that pesky crank breather.  Must get that rerouted etc
