No way, it’s more to get your e-mail addresses than to fight for a cheap petrol. LPG is getting more popular in UK – try this, you will save some money and other people will follow you. More people will convert their cars, lower it’s going to cost. Pure economy – more demand, more supply, more competition -> lower prices.
In Poland LPG is in ca 20-25% of all cars. This way there is a big market and while the LPG prices are going up (stupid ideas about increasing taxes – sounds familiar?) , more people are asking about CNG (Compressed Natural Gas - methane). It is more expensive to convert any car, tank can take less, but because the demand is increasing, manufacturers are improving their systems. Also, with small effort you can buy a CNG pump and “buy” fuel from your house (it’s the same gas).
If you have a diesel engine – go to any take away and ask them about oil (not the palm oil). Get a container, filter it (5, 3 and 1 microns), add 2 different acids, let it work for a night and you can mix it up to 70% in your tank. You can do it legally.
I think this might help. I don’t want to fight any company, it’s useless. We can go for a cheaper cars. I can assume, taking the example from Poland that within next 3-5 years, there will be an LPG conversion garage in every town and one day government will put their hand on DIY installation (these are not allowed in any other EU country)
