Light bulb replacement.
« on: 05 November 2013, 20:49:25 »

Further to my post yesterday about the illuminations I need a bulb for the light switch unit. I have removed the old one but it's so minute I am not sure where to start looking for one. Any ideas? And regarding front fogs: I need a replacement but was considering  replacing both with something a bit brighter and therefore a bit more useful when genuinely required. Please note I am not one of those drivers who motors around with just fogs and sidelights on. How daft is that? ;D ;) :) ::)

It's been a while since I've opened up my light switch, but are these what you want?  :-\ http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1311.R1.TR1.TRC0.A0.Xrice+bulb&_nkw=grain+of+rice+bulbs&_sacat=0&_from=R40

Thats not the bulb the op needs - its a 0.5w and you will need the type that come fixed into a holder, the bulb does not just pull out from the holder.

For details see here - http://oldsite.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1193565089

HTH :y

Edit - last time I got one, removed bulb in holder and got local motor factors to match ;)
