I remember having the little corgi/dinky version as a kid.  Had the working missile launcher things, used to fire match stiks about 2 feet in the air.

Must be similar era. Seem to remember you saying you lived near Kiverton, I used to go to school in the pit bus that parked at the garage on the cross roads, Lived in Harthill as a kid.

I know it well Mike.

8 miles to work from home evry day, Worked at the food factory as an engineer.

As well as the Batmobile which mysteriously dispeared I also had the gold James Bond Card with the pop up shild and front missiles.  Sadly missing as well.

But I have still got my horby trains (Brittani steam loco, 3 pullman coches and mail coach) bought for me as I was born in 1961 (no tracks left though) and I also have a horse drawn fire tender with the manual up/down pump on a trailer.  tried to value it on fleabay but the one I found just are not in the same condition or origial quality as mine.

The good old days eh!

It's amazing what you can do with an old VDub and a pot of bodyfiller !!!!

Like all the "oldies" .... er, "older" ... members with longer memories ... I prefer the original. Wouldn't say "no" to a cruise in the new one though !

Heard you were splashing out on something a little different Lizzie.

Sorry Skruntie but I have just recovered from my first set of exams yesterday!

Anyway, I think you may have found my perfect car. :y  It certainly my kind of image; you know, a bit gothie!  I think it runs on a gas jet turbine (far cheaper than petrol I am told) and has a cruising speed of 300mph, top speed 350mph, and a 0-60 in 1.5 seconds, with radar detection, anti-congestion charge stealth invisable shield and lazer guns to disintergrate anything that gets in the way i.e. boy racers, tractors, and any car chosen!     That will all do quite nicely for the moment! ;D ;D ;D :y

This model superceded the 1960s original version based on a Ford Mustang (didn't come with radio or a heater!)
