I think it was this comedy where Charlie Drake was a pissed as a fert dishing out mars bars to the girls and the audience.

Thanks for that chance to see such brilliant comedy from Charlie Drake, a man who I considered back in the 1960s to be the funniest in the world.  I still do!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

He had just a wonderful talent for making people laugh!  :y As for Norman Wisdom, who my Nan absolutely loved, I couldn't stick him and just thought as a child he was "stupid".  Still do! ;D

Did you see the documentary about his kids putting him into an old people's home as he can no longer look after himself ?

Sad really -- but TBH it seems he loves it there -- all the oldies remember him from days gone by and he then had a captive audeince.

Unfortuneatly the last few days I have felt a bit of an "oldie".

Not maneged to get out of the house this week, but am picking up again, so hopefully out and about in the Elite next week.   ;D ;D ;D
