You don't know how quickly time flies until you have kids. Seems like yesterday when my first one was born. She was 31 a couple of weeks ago. You get up in the morning,look in the mirror and wonder who the hell the old man is looking back at you.

My youngest lad is 28 tomorrow  , I have no idea at all where the time has gone. I took him in my brand new Elite to the WW1 battlefields when he was at school. Now he supervises trips there from his school.

Yes, about 3 weeks ago, Miss Vamps and swmbo were at the caravan (Static) and 3 boys called for her......   Being brave I sent them on their way, and sent a text to Miss Vamps telling her she had had callers and that I had set the dog and the cat on them, with the threat of 3 big brothers....... , oh how I hope such threats work.....

She has her friend from over the road call every morning for school, know him well and not a problem, less so with his hair cut, boys all seem to look Gay to me now......

I was laughing at one of my young cousins (10) recently, who was sporting a gay fashionable hairdo. "Cor, look at the barnet on that" I said.   

He gave me a withering look and said dismissively "You're just old!"

Just been watching George Cole on the one show. He is 88 and it took me a while to realise who he was. So, if he's aged that much, in what seems such a short time, I must be totally different too. Logical, innit.....

His 'boy' Terry McCann is a pensioner himself now......
