Humbug is contagious
« on: 22 November 2013, 19:13:00 »

Never been that bothered about Christmas, over-commercialised and boring. So, when I get asked what I want, I usually just grunt. Tonight I asked the wife what she would like. "Don't know, don't really need anything". Asked the lad, "Errrr.....don't know.....some money".
For years I've been telling them it's crap, now I'm quite disappointed that they're not looking forward to it. :(

If your miserable and negative, the people around you will act likewise. So now they don't think much of Christmas to keep them on their toes, say now you have retired you are going to make a real effort to give them the best Christmas ever. Make the most of your retirement by putting more effort into making mundane things more interesting. You will feel better for it and probably live longer. :y :y :y :y
