Doggy Smell
« on: 23 November 2013, 16:02:08 »

Whats the best product on the market for getting rid of doggy smells from fabric seats in the omega  :-\ Ive put a strong air freshner in but its only masking the doggy smell . Bloke who owned it before must of kept his doggy in the back quite a bit as it honks especially when the heaters are on  :(

Take them out and jet wash them  :y

Seriously, it will work, but downside the seats need a few days to dry.....

Seen it done loads of times in cabs to get rid of puke mess/smell

The Astra estate I had for a while had been used for a while as a kennel for a big GSD before I got it. I tried everything to rid the car of the smell of that dog & failed. I removed & jet washed various bits of trim, carpet & seats, and initially it seemed OK, but the next time the sun came out and the interior got warm ........... it still stank of mutt! the best thing that happened to the car was being written off in a bump.  ;D

Tell that to the drunken bint that chundered all over the back of the car yesterday, who then talked herself into Crawley Nick for the night, following a rather confrontational exchange with myself and subsequently two very reasonable PCs >:(
