Right as I had no conclusive answer to previous post on fan noise, here is a bit more info, still think I have a blocked matrix (heater) pipes are warm top and bottom, but main fan runs all the time, had this before till James did the matrix and got a good flow through it, stopped fan problem then.  Fan now disconnected but the other fan which is on forward face of rad on r/h/s which I assume is A/C fan now kicks in all the time.  Panel controls are set for heat on both sides and running on auto.

EML now resolved by replacing the Cam shaft sensor. ;D

ah thanks Rob , actually makes sense now doh, now just this top hose to free off and that's all the jobs done.
