Thanks Kevin, makes sense what you say :y

So is it worth cleaning them as nothing appears to be wrong with them, or clean them anyway?  :-\

Modern clean fuels we are using, and indeed have been the norm for many years now, wont produce the carbon build up that was normal 30 years ago. So the use of these so called miracal cleaning addatives are no more than marketing spiel, for the chavs and boy racers who belive it will make their corsa do 200mph. ::)

I've never been a fan of engine additives for claimed miracle cures.  After watching an episode of wheeler dealers I saw the terraclean discarbonising treatment advert with Ed China.

I've read through their website and wondered what other members make of it?

I'm in 2 minds if it will actually be a benefit or if it's just another glossy advert for something that isn't necessary.

Back to the original post, I hadn't heard of Terraclean till this post, Just been looking it up and sounds good, Found this post on another forum i'm with, This person had a VX Cavalier done Link He seems to have had a good overall experience having this done, Just wondering would mine benefit from it seen as it has 191k on the clock or any mileage cars.. Left us know how it goes if you decide to go through with it..  :)
