A couple of months ago my missus got a new tax coding notice. Her tax code went from XXXX L to XXYY L backdated to April. She sent it off to pay roll. Nothing changed last month so she chased it up. This month they changed it to XXYY L M1, and paid her one month at the new rate. WTF have they put her on an emergency code, it's really not that hard to work out?

At least her employer has been paying her taxes, which is more than the breakless turnips at the agency I've been working for >:(

Indeed, wrong NI number, totally different from mine, plus no paperwork from before the last week of the tax year.
Firm went bankrupt in the last week of March, apparently issuing everyone P45s... did anyone actually receive one? DTF >:(
