Was just about to post the same. Very sad, no age really. I was a big fan of the professionals back in the day and still watch repeats sometimes even now. I came close to buying the white RS2000 (although I suppose there may have actually been more than one ?) but got talked out of it.
I still get reminded occasionally by swmbo (as they do) that 30 years ago I tried wallpapering a room while watching the Professionals at the same time. This resulted in three strips of wallpaper being cut several inches short, one after another. ::)
R.I.P. Lewis. Thanks for the great programmes.

RIP  :(

Indeed and as above, 67 is far too young.

Note the iconic cars on the road at the time ....... what would the MKIIIs (there's only one MKIII  ::)) MKII Triumph & MKII and MKIII Capri be worth today  ::)

They were all shite cars, but worth a tidy sum now. What price nostalgia ?
The RS2000 though was a decent car in its day and would still be good fun even now imo. In fact, with the right bits bolted on, it would embarrass quite a few modern cars.

0-60 under 9 seconds ?
The RS is a sweet handling car. The real fun would be in the twistys. ;)

Very sad news :(
After all these years of non stop research it is a mystery why Mankind still hasn't found a cure for deadly illnesses like Cancer yet can send men to the Moon, explore Mars, & build weapons that can target a man on the other side of the World taking a sh*t! >:(

The original Mk1 Escort Twin Cam is worth crazy money today.

I've seen them advertised at £50,000 plus..... :o :o :o :o :y
