I did mate. Being totally stupid, didn't realise that there were motors in both footwells. I checked the passenger footwell as per the guide and that was fine, didn't realise that there would of been one the other side. I assumed that the motor did both sides since there was no mention of drivers side, lol. Live and learn!

I fixed mine by screwing a small screw into the motors plastic arm, so that the arm coming down from above had a bigger "pin" to hold onto.

Only thing now is the heaters are still not that hot. Will do another matrix flush now I've resolved that initial problem!

Was this for the blend flap? Got any pictures?

Suspect I have same problem with my 3.2, centre vents red hot on high. Side vents and rear are cool.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures mate, sorry :-[

It does sound like you have the same problem, but both sides. All I did was unplug the motor undue the screws holding the motor in place and withdrew it. Used a self tapping screw and screwed it onto the raised nipple on the arm on the back of the motor. Make sure though that the arm coming down from above, the hole will go over the head of the screw!!

Works a treat now, although it's still not very hot heat coming through on any vents. It's warm, but not hot. HTH's :y
