I am not good with this bought her a silencer for her car a couple of years ago[was a right pig to wrap as well]  she wasn't happy even though she needed one and I fitted it for free!
this year ive bought her a garden shredder  will see what happens.

but its her fault as I ask her every year and she comes out with

how long have we been married? you should now what I want.

On the subject of buying wives irons for Christmas, I think we need to hear from Mr DTM.... ;D

IIRC, he still has the lump on his head to prove it. :o Domestic, heavy, and a nice handle on it so she can get a good swing. All the cardinal rules broken in one pressie. ::)

A post I made got me thinking....... Why is it OK, even encouraged, for women to buy the man, tools or just about any garage kit, but if a man were to buy the women a iron, or just about any kitchen / household labor saving device, he would be in the dog house, at least?............... ??? ???

Absolutely right Mike - to get round it I've bought SWMBO a 3 tonne hydraulic jack :y

That also rules out a double oven and one of those massive Maytag fridge-freezers... ::)
