There are plenty of you live local to Gatwick. Go and rescue a damsel in distress for Christmas.

I've slept overnight at Washington Airport, that was fun, not  ::)

If they have Christmas tunes on loop, could drive you insane  :o

Has the weather really been that bad?
There was enough power "dips" here last night to send my NAS box in to a frenzied mailing session to let me know (countless times) what was occurring.

Rough as hell here last night, high winds ,heavy rain and flooding,I took the Discovery out and thought the floods would be no bother, wrong unless I was prepared to drive over stranded cars :-X

Loads of people stuck at Gatwick. Imagine spending Christmas at an airport.

Fine today, where my daughter and family are flying out to Orlando, flight due to takeoff at 11:40 and departed at 11:55, bit of a headwind so, will land about 30 minutes late at 16:26 local time.  :y :y :y
