Pressure washer

Halfords have a 1400W power washer on sale at £39. Are their own brand any good?
Tesco also have a Karcher 1400W on offer at £79. It's only for occasional use, but would the latter be a better buy, even at twice the price?

once you have owned a nilfisk, you will find the Halfords ones noisy and crude.

I have an Alto atm. It's served me well for several years, but the last few times I used it in the summer, it kept shutting off intermittently. When I saw these I thought I could replace it. Must check out Nilfisk though, thanks for the tip  :y

Is owning a pressure washer like needing a chainsaw,or a petrol disc cutter, or a double gas bbq, so you can stand out side the shed in a tiger print leotard, grunting and pretending your on tool time(tim Alan) very funny..

or are they a middle class suburbia thing, like keys in the fruit bowl parties...
