I am waiting for a price on the Jeep as PX

I have had a Grand Picasso before for 3 and half years and loved it, Like the Jeep but fuel costs running around town every day are beginning to bite...... :( :(

That's a cracking price, Mike, and they're a nice looking car with plenty of toys.
Have a read up about the auto box, iirc, that's what put me off.

My aunti has had one for 4 years and it hasn't missed a beat. My opinion at first wasn't great but can't fault it nor the dealers. It's a diesel auto but not sure of the spec. It's got the odd creak and rattle now but reliability wise it's been excellent.

The Citroen C3 SWMBO got for Christmas  ::) is a proper torque converter 4 speed auto. Citroen's automated manual doesn't seem to get very good reviews.

FIL has the C4 Grand Picasso in the same dog turd brown as the first car you linked to, that's an automated manual & as a passenger the shifts seem awful!  ???

It's like any semi auto, lift off a bit before an up change and all will be nice and smooth, not a problem going down...... ;) ;) :y

I also like the C3 Grand Picasso but few and far between in auto...... :( :(

Blimey those are good value, low miles, practically brand new!

I'd be concerned about the autos, manual be a better bet. Let us know how you get on  :y

I think that is because there is no creep.......... :( At work I come out of my parking space, down a short row, all in reverse before maneuvering to drive away. almost all in creep as space is very tight........ ;) ;)

No problem with doing a hill start with the Citroen, undo the handbrake by driving off, or do it manually..... :y

Without a PX figure I can't fully do the math, but a Citroen should save me £40+ per week in fuel........ :y :y

The counter argument is that £5k or more will buy me a lot of fuel for the Jeep....... ::) :-\ ::)
