It lets the Barclays Bank app work, but I'll keep you informed so you (or whoever) can rewrite the detection process if it does work

I have sky go, not go extra. Never tried using it on an android device though. Whats the difference between the go service and the now TV service?

Sky Go is a value added product, it comes free with your Sky subscription. It matches the channel entitlements on TV service, with what you can get on a mobile device/web.

NowTV is aimed at non-Sky customers, it's a contract free service. Offering essentially same content (Sky Movies/Sports/Entertainment) but without need to a contract and dish at home.
