Hi again, all being well should be ready to put everything back on 2.2.First question lol,can i torque head down without inlet and exhaust being fitted,does the weight, pull make a difference.Whats the torque value for the egr and water inlet chamber that bolts on the cylinder head at the rear and the part number for the gasket.Many Thanks all

Aren't the 2.2 torque values essentially the same as the 2.0 :-\

got oem headgasket kit looks slightly different than original gasket, where the egr port is covers in different way.I still have the original vauxhall gasket.Is it wise to reuse gasket with a bit of sealant on one mating face.Maybe vauxhall do just that gasket.Thanks

If the original gasket is still in one piece and in reasonable condition then I see no reason it can't be reused with a smear of instant gasket to resettle it in. ;)
