Battery might have summat to say about that :-\

Yes I did wonder, but I had to charge me phone at work yesterday, and re started the rear socket by turning the ignition on again every 15mins.

It was running for at least an hour. Battery seemed fine on starting 6 hours later.

You don't need to turn the ignition on .. just open/close any door .. :)  That repowers the system .. :)
Fairly sure its a seperate circuit. Cirtainly on opening the door to check the phone, it wasn't charging. So key in, ignition on. Charging. Ignition off. Still charging. Etc

OKies .. but on mine opening a door resets it ... I've done it many a time when changing tyre pressures before connecting the tin-tent .. :)

Okay, just jumping on the subject, what is the procedure for turning the rear cigarette lighter into a timed output one on a MFL? Mine turns off straight away when the ignition switches off.
