« on: 03 February 2014, 12:50:31 »

Just got my dual fuel bill for the last quarter, £485! The majority, £350 is for gas.

I do like to be nice and warm whilst watching Bargain Hunt. ::)

Nope.....just a paltry DVD player.

Which only works when the car is stationary. :)... As soon as I start to drive the picture goes.

The trip computer is showing 20.6 MPG over the last 560 miles. So no, I can't afford to drive it. ;D

It is quick though..... :o :o ;)

It pulls 36 MPH for each thousand revs in top (7th)........ So has the potential to be reasonably frugal.

I'm aware that many on here will disagree, but it feels a whole lot faster than any Omega I've driven, including my 3.2 plod estate that went like shit off a shovel. :y

No gas where we are but we pay £49 a month by direct debit for the electricity.

We also have to buy about 2000 litres of heating oil each year......roughly £1100. Additional to this we use some six or seven 47 KG propane bottles for the fire. These cost £52 each, this year. :'( :'(

So in the ballpark of £2200 each year.  :-\

Although this quarters bill was very high, my annual bill is around £1300, still high, but near average I think.
I had wife and son off over Christmas, and they hammer everything.
