injector pipes for 2.5 diesel Omega (1997)
« on: 04 February 2014, 13:40:19 »

Had a problem with a cracked injector pipe. Vauxhall said none in the country, could get some from Germany, 8 - 10 days!! and £67 for "set" 1, £72 for "set" 2, all plus VAT of course.
Found the following - Omega Spare Parts Ltd, 0770 6495877 or 0800 9175877, ask for Steve. £29.99 for full set, used but thoroughly checked, next day delivery if ordered by 4pm, 30 day return policy.
Orderd at 2:30pm yesterday, delivered 11:20am to-day. Well packed, perfect fit, now firing on all 6!
Highly recommend this company.

Good result mate!  :y

Out of interest how do you change a high pressure line from the ''opening up the system'' point of view? Is it just swap the line out then bleed air from somewhere?

Yep, though leave the injector ends slack when refitting. Spin the engine over on the starter motor until you see fuel squirting at the injectors. Don't go anywhere near whilst you're cranking, as we're talking around 200 atmospheres pressure here (from memory) which'll pierce your skin!
Tighten 'em up, then it should fire up. Obviously, check for leaks and wash-off the 'bled' fuel.
