I just had a quick squint at a pic of the BMW variant and it appears to have a standard looking steel output flange

I've heard that it's a BMW box in the Omega... but why all the GM gubbins?

Just remind any BMW owner you know that its a GM one in these models....and that the rear subframe and suspension setup is ZF.....etc etc etc.

You might find BMW made the badge

I was  told that the GM box was a trade off for GM using the BMW 2.5 TD lump for the Omega
