Rain-x is fantastic on the Westfield where the wipers are about as much use as an ashtray on a - well, a Westfield. ;D

I Tried Raix-X ages ago It's OK, But for the past 7 months I have been using something called "Gtechniq G1 Clear Vision Rain Repellant" Which i applied Once (3x coats at the time) July 2013 and is still working well, Not as good as it was first applied but still cruising above 50mph you don't really need the wipers especially at night with no street lights.

Plus it definitely helps the water off with ease when using the wipers, Also when we had a little frost awhile back only the roof froze.

Personally i wouldn't recommend Rain-X when these's something better available. Just my opinion mind.  :)

Yes I remember you posted a link. :y

Might try it once the Rain x runs out, having sampled the benefits of such products. :)

Be sure to clean all the glass you want to apply it to with some IPA beforehand  :y

I had 2 car screens replaced on insurance in 2012 and was really impressed by the service of Autoglass including the providing proper new screen surround and the next day a new lower rubber seal as the old one was perished.Would recommend over other companies but cant comment on any upselling as was done at home.

There`s no way I`m cleaning my screen with beer...a total waste IMHO  ;D

I use rain-x on the miggy and my works van, brilliant on dual carriageways and motorways especially when passing hgv`s. Didn`t see much improvement around town though.
