No footy on sky again.

Getting hump with this.

Paying twice the money for the same amount of football, is not good competition for the consumer.

What about those of use who refuse to pay for any TV beyond TV Tax. Sky was bad for the consumer ;)

Naturally, I don't agree.

It was very good for football fans. Dragged the presentation out of the dark ages. Put way more live game on tv, and improved the quality of prem league football.

...then they loose half the games to Setanta/Espn/Bt but don't lower the subscription to match. So I'm either paying the same for half the football, or have to pay twice as much for what I already had, once upon a time.

Be interesting to see how this plays out, BT made the play for broadband customers to come back. It's not working so far ...

Bt sport will get my sub at this rate, based on footy and moto gp.

Sky will loose out from this household. While its the best tv platform for me, the sports selection is shocking ATM.

The amount of money, IMHO, ruined the Premier League. But thats not relevant here.

However, as somebody who does not want to pay for sport, I can now get a reasonable football service for buggerall, assuming I have an internet connection with non complex needs....  ....as it happens, I can't get BT Sport :P

Sky has gained broadband subs, we got more this quater than same one two years ago. More of our customers taking the triple (phone/tv/phone)

Churn is still low, share price has bounced back.

So it is not working yet...
