Insignia Tyres
« on: 15 February 2014, 00:52:29 »

Fronts have gone at 18000 miles. £160 each to replace with the Bridgestone that were fitted as original. Not impressed but SWMBO wants it done yesterday and she has sorted. Goes in tomorrow for fitting.

Ah, the joy of big wheels and lo-pro tyres. You certainly have to pay for your pleasures. ::)

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asy2 can be had for about £118 a corner.

I'm thinking about buying a set for the CLS.

245/-/18......I can't remember middle  bit. ;D

From what I've seen, sc3 last almost twice the miles of the quieter f1.

Its probably best to stick with the oe tyre though, to avoid any nasty surprises. 18k is pretty good mileage from a front wheel drive, to my mind anyway.

As said before £60 a corner is plenty, any more is just bloody scandalous..

Might go Sport maxx TT next on the front. Defo less miles, but more grip to balance the rear. ;)
