my oil cooler has gone on the mv6, doing away with this set up it has as its the 2nd one now fitted in 2yrs, but i have sourced all the pipework and a oil cooler off a frontera 4x4 to mount it in the grill area, it wont sufffer the same probs again

Don't forget that as a coolant/oil heat exchanger it's a two way thing. When the engine is hot, the coolant is cooling the hot oil, but beforehand, the hot oil helps get the coolant up to temp.
