Miggying again.
« on: 07 June 2008, 18:45:30 »

Finally fitted the new battery today that I bought through the week, been sorting other stuff out. ::)

Mig started first time, some air in the tyres, Tax in the window  and off to clean the brakes. ;)

Now I have had this car since September last year but, because it had a misfire it got SORN and left, having only managed a couple of trips to the tip, still has the remains of this in the back of the car, I am afraid she became unloved. :'(

OOF kept that little flame going though through the winter and here we are ;D

I had forgotten how heavy they are to drive mind, had a good run out and included a stretch of Motorway to give it a blast, in sports auto it kicked down at 90 mph (Private bit) not bad for a 2.0L. :y

Car seems to be faultless now, due for MOT so will try and get it in next week. Except from a rattle from the exhaust when on tickover and the central locking does not seem to work, tries and then bounces back up, any idea’s.

Bodywork is brilliant, needs a good clean, interior is a horrible light colour but never mind, everything works including A/C the clock date read 01.01.1997 so had to adjust that, set the time and the radio, find a spare set of sunglasses to go in the car and it is ready for use. :y :y :y
