Sneaky appeal to your consciences
« on: 06 June 2008, 22:02:27 »

Any of you leave your PC's running all day/night to save the effort of restarting it when you need it?
I'm one of almost 400,000 members of the World Community Grid which uses PC idle time to work on solutions for problems like finding Cancer cures, working on AIDS drugs etc (see link here --->http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org). My team is having a drive to encourage people to join up to the Grid (hopefully joining our team) and make a contribution to that effort. Lots of info on the page about what is done, how it is done etc etc...
If you are keen to do this then you can join my team using this link http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/reg/viewRegister.do?teamID=V821SPD4BN1

Haven't been able to find a Miggy team so this will have to be second best  :y

I don't have a problem with this, but I also don't want this to be the green light for other appeals.

I will let this stay. :)

Well last night I wondered if this was some Con, when I read they provide the software.
And believe me I am all for Cancer research.
