Posted a question on the Jeep Forum
« on: 27 February 2014, 22:24:44 »

I posted:-

Are there any recommended parts sellers?

Looking for a New, prop-shaft vibration damper for a 2004 Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD, would consider good used part.

Any suggestions appreciated......... :y

24 hours later, 25 views, 1 response asking me to clarify what part as he has a spare prop; whilst grateful for the response if I had asked on here about where to get Omega parts from I would have been inundated with replies.......

We really must never underestimate the value of OOF............ :y :y

Ask them how to rectify a loose nut behind the steering wheel.

I'm surprised Rob G hasn't posted a pic and found one in the shed ;D

At least with a pic to link to, you could show your respondent exactly what you're after :y

Any use Mike :-\

Tend to think it is more like parts 9 and 10??? Postage would be too low, the actual part is unbelievably heavy, but it's a start....... :y

In all my years I have never come across such a thing, and, having done some research, think it may only be a Mercedes Diesel and not Petrol part, something to do with torque absorption on acceleration.........as I say, not even much info on Jeep forum, what I have read has been on American sites........... :D :D

If you know the part number, use that to search ebay.com and ebay.de :y

Never know, you might get lucky :-\

The Jaguar X-Type forum is much the same, Mr Vamps. SFA for 99% of the time. :-\

I suppose it didn't help that I pissed them off by constantly refering to Mrs Opti's 3.0SE auto as a 'Jaguar Mondeo' ..... ;D ;D
