fault codes 2.5v6
« on: 28 February 2014, 16:45:25 »

74- maf sensor voltage high
144- immobilizer no signal
59- intake manifold valve low voltage
31- no rpm signal
car just stop on me in the middle of the track and hasn't started since
i have a spare crank sensor there ready to through in to it

but does any one know why there's no immobilizer signal? also any common reasons for the maf sensor voltage high and intake manifold valve low voltage?  ???

Check the little black chip in the key fob has not moved from its socket ...if it has a dab of superglue to hold it in position.... if it is in the "wrong" place in the key it often does not talk to the transponder ring correctly .. been there, got the T shirt .. :( Just dropping the key can dislodge it .. :(

What makes you think it's the crank sensor?
If you are going off the 31 that always shows up when the engine isn't running.

To avoid confusion, do you have the ability to clear the codes, and see what comes back?

i don't know if its crank but its not hard to change crank sensor so im gonna change it just to rule it out, if it dosn't start with a good crank sensor then it is likely the immobilizer, and i cant clear codes to Wednesday as code has been borrowed, i just done paperclip test to get what codes were in it. Is immobilizer a separate unit or coded into the brain?
