cheap Prestone stuff.
bought 12 cases of 6x 5l bottles for 20 quid about 5 years ago at a bankruptcy auction.
leaves a small amount of white powder on the screen, but not too bad.
I think Morrisons still sell it.

Normally GM Opticlean, works well and wont freeze.

Currently using a different cheaper one they recommended and it seems fine (its name esacpes me for the moment)

+1 plus smells rather nice.

As for freezing I've no idea, Not really been cold enough to know for certain, Only been using for past 8 months or so also.

I think whats in the cars is mostly Holts, as I picked up a bucketload cheap. I'm topping it up with some right ol' pikey stuff at the moment. Does the job. Just.

You need to. Fortunately your CD doesn't have headlight washers, so you can't knacker that pump of nozzles. You'll find the guaze under the screen pump clogs soon with a whitem stringy slime.

Screenwash has additives to prevent this growth, as well as provide a better clean and antifreeze properties.

If they all cost the same, I'd use opticlean, as I think it does work very well, though maybe a tad foamy on prefacelifts with headlight washers (less impact on facelift headlight washers for some reason).

But opticlean has become a tad pricey, esp the amout Mrs TB gets through this time of year!
