I've just dug out all (well, the vast majority of) the receipts for things spent on & bought for my omega since I bought it in Oct 2003. They all add to almost £6600 ... added to that would be the cost of 10 MOTs & insurance. Not bad really

Yes, and the road tax. 

If we knew the price of fuel over the years it could be worked out. But 85000 miles at 20 odd to the gallon would bring a tear to the eye if I knew how much I'd put in the tank.    When we used it to tow the caravan to France & back the other year, it used 100.3 gallons at 18.5 to the gallon!

Jeez thats about 1800 miles  must have cost well over £500 in fuel then the cost of tolls sounds a expensive vacation.Went down to Vendee last year towing van 1500 miles in total @21.5 mpg the fuel cost and £70 charge for tolls was more than the cost of 14nts hols (not including beer money) + ferry + dog passport put together meks yer eyes water!!

When we got Molly the Mutt (from a forum member), we'd already arranged our holiday in France & had no option but to leave her in kennels. She was only 9 or 10 months old and though the kennels said she'd been fine, she lost a lot of weight while in there ..... she found her bark too  I think she'd hate it in there now but fortunately has never needed to go.

Had three 3.0's now and all auto , never had any issues  Couldnt imagine using a manual box for towing
