Irmscher front bumper grills
« on: 12 March 2014, 15:11:11 »

Noticed today that I'm missing one of the 4 black metal grills that fit beside the fog lights in the air dam. Any one any idea where or how to source replacements ?? My pathetic attempts on T'internet have achieved the square root of F all  :(

Probably easier to fabricate new from a suitable galvanised mesh :-\

Doesn't need to be dished... :y

Ahh thanks for that ... I "assumed" it would have to be the same "dished" shape as t'other one ... I suppose for the "best effect" replace all with the same mesh so as to avoid one being "different" ...

I doubt I'll get black mesh .. so just galvanised and spray it matt black ... ??

If spraying galv mesh, you need an etch primer first or the black will peel. Most proper car paints places will do an aerosol of etch primer

Colour impregnated won't chip.

If they do such a thing, I'm sure they must do. Me dad used it on his quad speakers.
