2.0 exhaust does fit a 2.2 as RobG said

Y118NFA 2.2 petrol manual saloon
Monday, son Ben walked in, said "Dad, I think my exhaust has just fallen off". I had a look. Back box had rusted completely through both pipes between it and middle sections, was hanging down and jammed into the road. I knew I had a 2.0 complete system standing up in the garage. I did not know it would fit  a 2.2 until a recent thread on this matter had RobG respond that it would fit. It does, and is quiet too. Thanks Rob.

Yes it's a good fit, got 2.0 exhaust on my 2.2, works well  :y

Only thing to note is the exhaust pipe is shorter, due to facelift bigger bumpers. A exhaust trail trim can fix this if you so wish
