Exhaust tailpipe diameter?

Quick question as per the title. Got an ETS/Eternal exhaust comng for my 3.2 estate and will need a pair of chavvy exhaust trims to get it to clear the Irmy bumper. Anyone remember off the top of their head what diameter the tailpipes are please?

I want to try and get them ordered ASAP as my MOT is out and I need to get the car back on the road.

It'll work fine without the trims, so safest to measure once it arrives, in case they have changed since mine was made.

Just run around without the trims until you can get them :)

Yeah... Forgot MOT wording is "Incomplete", not "doesn't clear the rear of the vehicle" :-[ ::)

I fitted my ETS exhaust about 6 months ago & I still haven't got around to buying some trims to fit.....

H*lfords biggest was 50mm which was exactly the same size as the pipes on the back box and so wouldn't slide over.

(in case you are wondering why I have got twin tail pipes on a 2.6 - the ETS pictures showed clamshell centre boxes on their 3.0 system or traditional boxes for the 2.5 so I went for clamshell boxes & twin tailpipes :y)

Can anyone recommend a supplier for the trims? I think they need to be between 52mm and 55mm to fit well.

Mine's had a PFL backbox on it since about a fortnight after I got it. That's 3 years now.
I prefer the shorter look, as a couple of pipes sticking out the back of a car are ugly, no matter how they are dressed up. It would look better still if they were turned down in front of the bumper so they weren't visible at all.

TBH, unless to are after a certain look, I'd see how you get on with no trims anyway, if this is one with a standard bumper. IME (albeit limited), you don't get again booming/droning from the exhaust not clearing the (standard) bumper through being too short. If a non standard bumper, I'm guessing there is a particular trim piece look you are after anyway...
