Current Trade Club prices
« on: 01 April 2014, 11:44:15 »

Just quoted up for a few bits, for service time on my 2.2:

Cambelt Kit, Water pump, Aux Belt, 4 Spark plugs, 2x Air Filters.

£183, inc vat.

So around £152, ex-vat. Think that is about right, last time I bought a cambelt kit. was around £85+vat.

Oddly parts department offered 2 water pumps  ???

Correct on I believe being: 24409355, a factory order one being 95507627, which I think is for a VX220  :-\

It'll be the number on the card, plus whatever password you chose (or in the case of ABS, the password they sent you) :y

Looking at buypartsbuy, they are significantly cheaper, think they will be getting my business.

Been looking to order parts from Now Vauxhall at Heathrow, but some parts in Heathrow, some Staples Corner. They wanted me to go to staples corner to collect the parts  ::)

At least one of the parts guys is the grumpiest fellow I've ever met, though.. ;D (That's not far from work so it's been emergency destination once or twice!)

He copped the right arse with me... Rang ahead and reserved a driveshaft boot kit that I had spotted on carpartsconnexion along with a tow bar wiring kit. He trudged off to find the parts and came back with a bill for £186.

Wasn't impressed when I pointed out th hat the actual advertised total was a smidge over £50 ;D

They carry alot of obscure odds and sods for peanuts, which is always worth knowing :y
