Just thought they would probably throw it out due to proving he was the rider or something :(

It is. Car drivers. Not saying bikers are exempt, far from it, but they'll spend a fraction of the time on the wrong side of the road as a car would.

Unless the rider is an idiot that can't handle the bike of course.

Which is quite plainly the case in this example.
I know videos can be deceptive, but the only reason I can think of for the sudden understeer and subsequent failure to correct it is that he didn't have the gonads to go for the kneescraper (which was obviously required) to get him round the bend at the speed he was travelling at.

Not a particularly severe curve, in fact he appears to be through the corner and just needed to hold his line. Seems to be a classic case of target fixation.

Here's another example: http://youtu.be/dZ2M7cpLGC4 . First rider runs wide, probably due to focusing on the grass verge he wanted to avoid, and the second rider is focused on the incident and follows the first numpty rider.

If they'd all looked at where they wanted to be and not at what they wanted to avoid, they'd most likely have been fine.

You are actually allowed to cross double white lines even in a car, but .......... it's only to allow you to overtake very slow moving traffic eg a tractor

eg a tractor, gully cleaner with a blue circle and white arrow, or a pushbike (all travelling at less than 15mph)

We ain't supposed to cross em, even on a blue light run!

 .......

I was reminded of this rule  (that's apparently changed back & forth over the years) a few years back when I was being made aware of my speed on a course!   ::) ::)

Define crossing.

Touching the white line. Or crossing both lines or slightly straddling. Or what?

"Has all of the ball got to cross all of the line" as in football.

Or as in Rugby, is he in touch if a foot touches the line...?

Define crossing.

Common sense has to prevail, crossing is going across but if we even touched it on our advanced course it was a fail.
