Ncdc 2013 problems
« on: 08 April 2014, 20:55:43 »

I hope someone out there can help with a problem I have with my ncdc 2013 in my 54 plate signum!
The problem started after changing the battery, now none of the buttons on the head unit work apart from the on/off/volume button and it's stuck on one radio station also there is nothing on display screen apart the wrong date and time. :(

Then thinking it must be a knackered hu I brought a new ncdc2013 with paired screen off eBay swaped them over only to find the same problems.  :'(

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

I'm in Brackley, if you want me to take a look one day. Marks DTM Calib has my CANdi, and is on hols, so if it needs Tech2 on it, you may have to wait a week or 2...

I would like to get the ncdc i bought from eBay working as this has colour screen and the old one hasn't, do I need tech 2 for this?
And if so do I need the pass code from doner car?

If the fault is pretty much the same on both units, I think its a fair assumption that the fault lays elsewhere.

As said, willing to assist, though I can't Tech2 until Marks DTM returns, as your Signum is CAN, and the Tech2 needs a CANdi lead (which MDTM currently has) to participate in CAN diagnostics.

In this case, I'm not convinced a Tech2 is required, although it will be a wasted trip if it is. That said, Banbury isn't that far away...
